Product labelling techniques

Making product lables demands good knowledge of all techniques that can be used for the decoration of plastic parts.
Our basic knowledge is supplemented by many years of experience in the application of these techniques. Not all possible combinations are suitable for making high-quality product labels. For example, it is of particular importance to take the criteria of durability into consideration.
Here, we would like to outline the basic techniques used by us to produce plastic tags and what we can achieve with the assistance of our highly skilled partners.
| Injection moulding |
This is the basis for making our product labels. For this, we only use Arburg machines. |
| Hot stamping |
Another common method for finishing plastic parts. By using foils from various manufacturers’ product ranges, we can meet many colour requirements (unfortunately not all). We can provide specific solutions depending on the area of application. |
| Pad printing |
Thanks to the use of printing ink, this technique is much more flexible with regard to colouring schemes than hot stamping. |
| Varnishing |
Varnishing still provides full coverage colouring with the highest possible degree of flexibility regarding choice of colour, gloss level, surface structure and resistance to environmental influences. With this technique, we are able to offer you almost the complete spectrum of varnishes. |
| Chromium plating |
The demands placed on companies that chrome-plate plastics are very high. In particular, the need to protect employees and also the environment means that this process is only worthwhile using a large-scale plant. We therefore provide this surface treatment in cooperation with partners who not only supply top quality, but also exceed the above-mentioned industrial safety and environmental protection requirements. |
